A suspected bus theft occurred in Sha Tin.
At about 4:03 am today (23rd), a staff member at the Shui Chuen O Village bus station found a double-deck KMB at the bus stop. After checking the GPS positioning system of the missing bus, it was found that the bus appeared along Mei Tian Road. Call the police.
According to reports, during the interception of the New Territories South Stormtrooper, the bus involved was found outside Mei Lam Village and immediately pursued. It is reported that the bus did not stop and fled against the line.
In the end, the bus reached the Tai Po Highway-Ma Liu Shui section opposite the Chung Kee College of Chinese University, and suddenly turned right and stopped on the opposite line.
It was reported that the two men in the car once abandoned the car and fled into the middle and large area. After running about 100 meters, they were finally subdued and arrested by the police.
They all reported injuries and one of them had neck pain and was sent to Prince of Wales Hospital for treatment.
At the scene, there were about 30-meter-long brake marks on the road; the bus involved in the case had the words "employee pick-up". It is reported that the two men arrested, both employees of the bus company, were employed for about one to two years. The police temporarily classified the case as "unauthorized "Take the vehicle" to deal with it, and the ins and outs of the incident are being investigated.
According to the source, checking the GPS records of the bus, the bus had been driven to Sheung Shui, Yuen Long, Tuen Mun and Macau Shan, a journey of over 80 kilometers.
