Deir Ezzor-Sana
The "Qasd" militia backed by the American occupation forces carried out a new raids campaign and kidnapped a number of civilians in the town of Al-Baghouz in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
Local sources told SANA's correspondent that armed groups affiliated with the "Qasd militia" stormed at dawn today the town of Al-Baghouz in the countryside of Deir Al-Zour and raided several homes in Al-Alawi neighborhood in the town and kidnapped 5 residents of the town and took them to an unknown destination.
The sources pointed out that the "Qasd militia" is trying to suppress the increasing popular attempts to expel it, along with the American occupation forces, from the region, by carrying out raids against the backdrop of targeting its headquarters and points of deployment in the Al-Jazeera region.
In the past weeks, the countryside of Deir Ezzor has witnessed popular demonstrations calling for the expulsion of the American occupation and the "Qasd militia", which has been persistent in harassing the people, stealing their property, besieging a number of villages and towns, arresting dozens of youth, targeting notables and tribal sheikhs, and stealing the wealth of the Jazira region.
