US President Donald Trump and his Democratic rival, Joe Biden, exchanged accusations during the recent debate in the race to reach the White House, and they presented completely different views on major issues and issues of interest to Americans, including saving the deteriorating economy, the health care system and confronting the Corona virus.

The American New York Times reported that the debate that took place last night differed from the previous one and was somewhat quiet after the US Presidential Debating Committee separated the voice from the microphone of each candidate for two minutes at the beginning of the period allocated to each, in order to avoid what happened during the first debate, where Trump boycotted Biden 73 times.

The new debate, as expected, witnessed an exchange of accusations between Trump and Biden, as the latter accused the US President's administration of underestimating the Corona virus crisis and not taking responsibility as it should, which caused the deaths of more than 220,000 Americans.

Trump tried to defend his administration, claiming that his policies “saved lives” and spoke again about providing a vaccine against Corona within a few weeks, despite his inability to provide guarantees about that, and American pharmaceutical companies and health experts denied the possibility of such a vaccine being available before the middle of next year.

The two candidates also exchanged accusations related to financial corruption, as Biden indicated that Trump evaded paying the taxes accumulated on him and refused to reveal his tax records.

With regard to the problem of racial discrimination inherent in American society, Biden acknowledged the existence of institutional racism in the United States, accusing Trump of being one of the most racist presidents in history. Than he did for the African American community ”.

This debate, which was held in Nashville, Tennessee, comes 12 days before the scheduled date of the vote, in light of Biden ahead of Trump in opinion polls.

On the winner of the last presidential debate, an immediate poll conducted by CNN showed that after it was over, Biden defeated Trump and performed better than the last.

According to the poll, 67 percent of Americans who gave their views said that Biden beat Trump in the debate, compared to 28 percent for the US president, and 53 percent of those who watched the debate said Biden's performance was better, compared to 39 percent in favor of Trump.

According to reports, more than 42 million Americans have cast their early votes in the presidential race so far.
