The lynching of the alleged rapist and femicide of Abigail in Tucumán ignited the debate in the province and revealed an alarming statistic: so far this year there have been
at least 13 cases of justice by own hand
.
José Antonio “Culón” Guaymás, 25 years old and the main suspect in the crime of the 9-year-old girl south of the provincial capital, was lynched by neighbors.

Neighbors and relatives of Abigail demanded justice after the discovery of the body of the nine-year-old girl.

, 19-year-old Brahian Alejandro Gerez
was killed by at least seven stab wounds

He was allegedly attacked by neighbors in the area.

was the lynching and murder of José Antonio Guaymás, the main suspect of having raped and murdered Abigail.
