A 10-year-old girl went alone to the Montbéliard police station on Tuesday evening, October 20, reveals France Bleu.
Earlier in the evening, the child had seen his 30-year-old mother being violently beaten by her partner.

The girl, who tried to come between the two, was also beaten, according to France Bleu.
She then decided to go get help and went to the police station in her pajamas.
The 46-year-old man had high blood alcohol levels.
He denies any violence against his partner.
He will be prosecuted for violence against a spouse and a minor of 15 years by legitimate ascendant.
