The neighborhoods of Greater Mendoza are deserted at night.
At 11:30 p.m. and until 5:00 a.m., a kind of
"curfew"
starts
that prevents transit and citizens must carry out strict social isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Nor are family or friends gatherings allowed to prevent the spread of the virus.
In this context, a 15-year-old adolescent who was meeting with friends beyond the authorized hours died.
He received three bullet wounds
, in an alleged gang confrontation.
The deceased boy's name was
Sebastián Ahumada (15).
At dawn this Saturday, the teenager was shot in front of a kiosk, in the Libertad de Maipú neighborhood, in Greater Mendoza.
The police officers who arrived at the scene say that the teenager participated in a clandestine party with other young people.
Most of his companions were drunk.
The trigger for the violence, according to the judicial investigation, was the confrontation with another group that surprised them when Ahumada and his friends took to the streets.
"One of the young men took out a revolver and began to shoot, while the rest ran to escape," according to the eyewitness account.
Ahumada was hit by three bullet wounds.
Two shots hit them in the chest at the level of the heart and a third in the left arm.
His friends called 911 and he was rushed to the Paroissien public hospital in Maipú.
But he died before entering the guard.
There
are no detainees yet.
Investigators from the Prosecutor's Office 10 are looking for two young people who may have participated in the homicide.
"Two men with whom the victim -alias Peque- was in conflict and who were identified by witnesses to the crime," reported the Ministry of Security of Mendoza.
