Today, Europe ranked second in the world after Latin America, after recording more than 250 thousand deaths from the Corona virus today, in addition to recording record numbers of infections over the past two weeks.
According to a Reuters count, Europe accounts for about 19 percent of all deaths and about 22 percent of cases worldwide, while Britain, Italy, France, Russia, Belgium and Spain have each recorded about two-thirds of the deaths so far, out of a total of about eight million cases.
Britain ranks first in the number of deaths, with about 45,000 deaths, followed by Italy, Spain, France and Russia.
A Reuters tally showed that more than 42 million people have been infected with the Coronavirus worldwide.
