Moosen -

Instead of an annual general meeting at the landlord's, Andrea Paulik, chairwoman of the Neighborhood Aid (NBH) Moosen and Taufkirchen, sent the members a letter informing them about the past year.

She could report positive things in it.

Together with the board of directors, she decided because of the corona pandemic to provide written information about the past year.

“Our membership numbers developed positively despite all the adversities.

Two new members could be recruited this year, ”writes Paulik.

So there are currently 108 people, 24 of them active and 84 passive.

The helpers worked a total of 710.25 hours.

Of this, 621.50 hours were spent on domestic help, 59.25 hours on driving services, 26.50 hours on care for the elderly and three hours on doctor visits.

Paulik also describes the finances as stable.

“We started with 4908 euros,” she writes, listing the individual low expenditures, around 47.50 euros for the Sparkasse, 29.88 euros for the website, 50 euros membership fee for Caritas or 66.13 euros for office supplies.

The current account balance is almost 3400 euros.

The cash balance has already been checked, documents and receipts can of course be viewed.

While the NBH took over the childcare with handicrafts at the Moosen Advent market in the previous year, the decision was made against this this year if the market should take place.

Whether a Christmas party could be held for the active will be decided at short notice.

In February Paulik met two other board members with Angelika Luther-Sirch from the family base, who had many questions about the work of the association.

At that time, the plans for Health Day 2020 were still fully underway, at which the NBH would have been represented with a small stand.

They had even had posters printed for it.

“But it shouldn't come to the point that we needed them.” Because the lockdown followed on March 13, and this event also had to be canceled.

The NBH helpers also had to limit their assignments as much as possible and pay attention to hygiene and distance rules, says Paulik.

The first easing took place only after Pentecost.

“During this time, the rural youth Moosen offered us to support us with trips to the doctor and shopping.

Thank you for this great offer at this unusual time. "

Paulik has also had a conversation with the new mayor Stefan Haberl.

“The community will continue to pay the insurance costs and will copy our brochure free of charge,” she gratefully said in the letter.
