Elections do only good for Donald Trump.

It is as if he was born to them.

In fact it is as if they are reborn every time they approach.

Anyone who has watched him confront and conduct himself over the weekend may feel that something new is beginning in him. The question is whether this will translate into momentum.

Trump, like Trump, is doing a non-stop rally marathon: Yesterday he was supposed to skip North Carolina, Ohio and Wisconsin.

Democratic candidate Joe Biden, who has disappeared in recent days because he wanted to prepare for the presidential confrontation, appeared in public again this weekend in Pennsylvania.

At one of his rallies he was embarrassed when Trump supporters came and started honking at their cars, taking him out of his composure.

"These are the fools, we do not like them, they are the guys of Trump," he said at the rally.

His remarks immediately created a storm among the Trump camp, which likened it to what Hillary Clinton said four years ago about the "abominations" that support Trump.

Trump's message is optimistic - we're heading for a victory over the Corona, America's leader again - and Biden's message is just more grief and pain, and complaints about the incumbent president.

Voters usually want something exciting, and the incumbent president is the one with the energies.

As mentioned, Trump is doing a marathon of rallies in three states on Saturday and Sunday.

These are three swing states, which the president won four years ago and which he does not intend to give up on the Democratic candidate, who is still leading in the polls, but the trend of downsizing is clear.

More than 50 million voted

The 2020 election excites the American public, and already more than 50 million have voted.

It is estimated that 85 million will vote before Election Day.

That is, about half of the votes.

Most voters are probably Democrats, and that may be starting to worry some Republicans calling on their voters to vote rather than wait for Election Day itself.

The president and his deputy were good examples of this.

On Tuesday it was Vice President Mike Pence accompanied by his wife who voted in his state of Indiana, while yesterday it was already President Trump who voted in the library at his official residence in West Palm Beach, Florida.

At the same time, the president of the United States received an unconventional applause.

Each of the candidates attacks his opponent's weaknesses.

Biden never ceases to mention the epidemic in which he believes the president has failed, while Trump has emphasized that Biden wants to move to green energy sources.

Biden also said this in a confrontation on Thursday and claimed he was not against these industries, but only wanted to give up subsidies, but for Trump Biden's words were a gift from heaven.

Since then Trump has not let go of the issue, and Biden is on the defensive.

"I hope Texas, Ohio, Oklahoma, North Dakota and everyone else listened to the confrontation; vote for Trump, otherwise you will have high energy prices and lose jobs en masse," Trump tweeted.

Either way, in the confrontation on Thursday we saw Trump considered and very focused.

He even gave his opponent the stage on many occasions, as well as the presenter, so much so that Politico also wrote: "Trump's strong performance."

Everything the two said was predictable, but on the other hand - each stung the other and protested that the other disagreed with him.

That was the abysmal difference compared to the first and chaotic confrontation of September 29: there was an argument, but there was also a style.

This is not surprising, because the two have never been in such a similar situation: they both knew that this might be the end chord of the campaign, and that they should not get dirty out of this confrontation.

Biden at certain moments did not know what to do with the time given to him.

Like the deer caught in the headlights of a car - he sometimes froze in place, falling into Trump's traps as he tried to defend himself against Trump's attacks and rhetorical questions, instead of putting up an appropriate answer.

On Friday I left Nashville.

I spent time on the street of music in the city - Honky Tonk Highway.

This street features local bands playing local or rock music at every local bar.

Trump starred in the street with many signs on the bars, and his supporters came to celebrate his victory in the confrontation.

Trump supporters seem to be coming out in droves, no longer afraid.

At the same time, all the media is mobilizing against him, except for "Fox", but for his supporters it does not matter.

The confrontation apparently did not change many opinions, but it did give hope to many Trump supporters that the president knows how to focus and conduct a debate from a state, and even presidential, position.

In fact, even the day before the confrontation, in an interview with Jason Whitlock, Trump tried to send a new and even reconciled message.

When asked "Will we see a new personality on the part of President Trump, a more gentle and kind personality?"

Trump replied, "I think so; I have not had time to be nice or politically correct since I arrived."

It is possible that in doing so, Trump wants to make the last two weeks of the 2020 election those that are very similar to the 2016 election.

Trump takes care to convey calm

Meanwhile, Trump seemed the most relaxed he has been so far during the campaign in the fifth confrontation, and even at the weekend rallies he was focused, sharp, and even witty.

Immediately after the confrontation all the journalists around me praised Trump for showing calm.

We will "promise peace out of power," Trump promised at his rally this weekend in North Carolina.

"We will land a first woman on the moon," he added.

"We'll put the first astronaut on Mars."

Trump is once again trying to ride the wave of optimism that has always fascinated Americans, and hopes voters will get tired of Biden's gloomy predictions.

"For the last four years I have fought for you, and I now want you to fight for me and give me the most important victory ever," he said, recalling the "blood and sweat of American heroes."

Trump, it seems, intends to elaborate on patriotic capillaries to the end.

"And the best part will come," he promised.

"The best is yet to come".

America's good days are still ahead of it, that's its message, and it hopes the message will gradually seep all the way to victory.
