Hundreds of protesters gathered on Wednesday in about 20 hotspots across the country, in protest against violence against women.
The demonstrations took place in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Beer Sheva, Haifa, Oranit, Ramat Gan, Karmiel, Hadera and other cities.
The protest arose after the murder of two women by their spouses, in Be'er Sheva and Haifa, a few hours apart.
A 67-year-old woman, Irena Gribnav, was found lifeless last Monday at a home in Be'er Sheva after she was allegedly murdered by her partner.
The incident took place just hours after the murder of Najah Mansour, a 35-year-old resident of Kiryat Haim. The suspect in the murder is Mansour's 28-year-old partner.
Her body was found in the two's apartment.
