The ski season has started in Breuil-Cervinia.
The first estimate of Matteo Zanetti, chairman and managing director of Cervino spa, is 1,800-2,000 admissions.
The controversy has flared up on social media regarding the queues that formed outside the ticket office this morning.
"Social distancing in Cervinia ... now ... but what are we talking about?"
writes a user on facebook to comment on a photo.
"There is the online ski pass, the ski pass in the hotels, all our cash desks open and even the automatic cash machine: all the strength, it's as if we were in the middle of the season", replies Matteo Zanetti, president and managing director of Cervino spa.
"There are a lot of people - explains Zanetti - but the situation is excellent from the side of gradual access and control. Obviously there were people at the cash desks, with a queue that we managed externally so as not to build up inside the boxes. . Each person who came to buy the ticket was measured the temperature, everyone is wearing a mask ".
