The world is facing the corona plague: Many countries on different continents are marking the highest number of infections and mortality in the corona plague in the past day, while the number of those diagnosed with the virus has risen to over 42 million people worldwide.
In France, the number of patients reached over a million people for the first time over the weekend.
Record numbers are also being recorded in countries that have been relatively limitedly affected by the disease so far, such as Hungary, where 3,000 new infections have been recorded in the past day, the highest figure in the country to date.
145 people have died from the disease in the past day, almost a tenth of the deaths from it in Hungary so far.
In Poland, where a government approved a series of austerity measures, stormy and sometimes violent demonstrations against corona restrictions took place in the capital, Warsaw.

On Friday, Poland marked a record number of infections across the country as more than 13,000 people became infected with the virus.
