Christoph Lochmüller is the name of the new Bundestag candidate for Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen in Bundestag constituency 213, Ebersberg-Erding.

Of the 81 party members who were eligible to vote, 53 voted for him in the runoff election against Maria Feckl.
Feckl received 24 votes, two voted no, and another two abstained.
Lochmüller accepted the election with joy.

"The forest dieback, Chernobyl, Wackersdorf and the Exxon Valdez oil spill were the startling events that shaped my basic green beliefs even in my youth".
