Christoph Lochmüller is the name of the new Bundestag candidate for Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen in Bundestag constituency 213, Ebersberg-Erding.

The 54-year-old was nominated in Vaterstetten.

Vaterstetten

- The Hohenlindener prevailed against Maria Feckl, Ami Lanzinger, Jonas Lorenz, Gunter Schmidt and Andreas Wichmann at the assembly meeting of his party in Vaterstetten on the weekend.

In the third ballot, the 54-year-old obtained an absolute majority.

"We are changing this republic"

Of the 81 party members who were eligible to vote, 53 voted for him in the runoff election against Maria Feckl.

Feckl received 24 votes, two voted no, and another two abstained.

Lochmüller accepted the election with joy.

“We are changing this republic,” was his spontaneously determined statement.

"We can become the strongest force nationwide."

The entrepreneur, managing director of an elevator company, studied mechanical engineering and organic farmer, stands for climate-friendly, fair and just politics in his own words.

"For decades I have been a staunch Green man and proud that the company that I manage is now climate-neutral." With these words, the happily married father of three children stood for election to the district associations Ebersberg and Erding.

"The forest dieback, Chernobyl, Wackersdorf and the Exxon Valdez oil spill were the startling events that shaped my basic green beliefs even in my youth".

Unlike in the CSU, it is important to design and not to pant after the issues.

“We have the alternatives and the better society that offers better opportunities and more fairness for everyone.

We have the concepts for the overdue change and the reconciliation of society. "

Again and again interim applause

Again and again he received applause during his seven-minute introductory speech.

For example when he talked about sustainable food, photovoltaics or wind energy.

He sees changing society as an essential task of politics.

Sustainability, gender equality and the promotion of the common good are central to him.

People have to be moved to act, to implement, to use regenerative energy much more intensely and to show respect and appreciation for others regardless of gender, sexuality, skin color or culture.

Lochmüller also commented on local politics: the Isental motorway was utter nonsense.

In the meantime, people are stuck in traffic jams longer than they used to be.

New transport routes of this kind are nonsensical, one has to think fundamentally about a new transport policy.

Even if his choice did not come as a surprise, the almost three-hour afternoon in the airy hall in Vater-stetten was exciting because his competitors also expressed interesting visions.

With Christoph Lochmüller there is now someone at the top who, according to the members, advocates an open, solidarity and fair society.
