The old house names in Peiting should not be forgotten.
After all, they were part of popular culture for centuries, and so it is local chairman Andreas Barnsteiner from the Bavarian Farmers' Association (BBV) and his board members to put up signs on all farms.
Peiting
- This was welcomed by all professional colleagues at the farmers 'regulars' table in March, and so, with the help of Irmgard Gruber, they started looking.
They liked a curved enamel sign with a format of around 38 by 26 centimeters.
The net price is between 60 and 70 euros - depending on the number of signs ordered.
Since several farms in the Peiting area have been given up in the past decades, it would be gratifying if these old farmsteads or new buildings there were also marked with the house names.
In some cases, this has already happened - for example at the “Ottiler” in Freistraße or at “Bachveith” in Ammergauer Straße.
Resettlers like the "Enebächler" took their house name with them to the new farm.
Katharina Barnsteiner, who inherited her drawing talent from her grandfather, created this beautiful drawing in the cowshed on her parents' farm.
The planned signs should have the same text as on the sign at the “Enebächler”.
So that the order can now be placed, chairman Andreas Barnsteiner asks interested private individuals to contact him by the end of October on 08861/67034 or his deputy Dominikus Häuserer (08861) 67293).
