The Venezuelan opposition leader and founding member of Popular Will, Leopoldo López, wrote this Saturday on Twitter that the decision to leave the residence of the Spanish ambassador in Caracas "has not been easy."
López did not reveal where he is or what his destination is.
His messages arrive hours after his departure from Venezuela was reported.

«Rest assured that you have this server to fight from any space.
We will not rest and we will continue working day and night to achieve the freedom that all Venezuelans deserve, "he wrote on the social network.
In another message, he stated that "in the coming days we will expand in detail the actions that we propose to carry out in favor of the freedom of our people."
Venezuelans, this decision has not been easy, but rest assured that you have this server to fight from any space.
We will not rest and we will continue working day and night to achieve the freedom that all Venezuelans deserve.
