The Brazilian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 25,574 new infections and 398 deaths from the Coronavirus during the past twenty-four hours.
Reuters quoted the ministry as saying in a daily report that the total number of HIV infections in Brazil has reached 156,926 deaths and 5381224 cases.
Brazil ranks third in the world in terms of injuries, after the United States and India, and second after the United States with deaths.
In Colombia, the health authorities recorded 8769 new infections and 198 deaths from the Coronavirus during the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of infections to 1007,711 and the total deaths to 30,000.
Cases of infection in Colombia have steadily risen despite more than five months of quarantine that has been gradually eased, which has hurt the economy and led to high unemployment rates.
In Mexico, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 6,025 new infections and 431 deaths from the Coronavirus during the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of HIV infections to 886,800 and the total deaths to 88,734 cases.
Indicating that the real number of injured is likely to be much higher than the recorded cases.
It should be noted that Mexico is among the ten countries with the most prevalence of Corona virus in the world and recorded the fourth largest death toll in the world after the United States, Brazil and India.
