As part of the IDF's training program for 2020, this morning (Sunday) began a General Staff military exercise designed to simulate a multi-arena security scenario targeting the northern arena.
The purpose of the exercise, dubbed the "Lethal Arrow," is to improve the IDF's offensive capability by assimilating the operating concept of victory and promoting new work processes between the headquarters.
The exercise, which as mentioned was pre-planned as part of the 2020 training program, is scheduled to take place by Thursday afternoon.
The large-scale exercise involves headquarters, regular forces and reserve forces in cooperation with the air, sea and land arms and the intelligence, technology and logistics and cyber and defense divisions.
Prior to the exercise, a General Staff Assault training was held with the participation of all the commanders of the IDF's regular divisions and divisions.
During the training, the commanders discussed various issues in the field of attacking targets and also engaged in the implementation of a common language.
An announcement issued by the IDF Spokesman stated that following the exercise, "there will be a vigorous movement of fighter jets, helicopters and aircraft throughout the country.
In addition, there will be a lively movement of security forces, vehicles and vessels throughout the country, as well as in the port of Haifa and the port of Ashdod. "
