The Yemeni Air Force directed the King Khalid Air Base in the Khamis Mushait region, in southern Saudi Arabia.
A spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said in a statement today that the Air Force targeted two "Q-2 Qasef" drones at the airfields at the base, and the hit was accurate.
He added, "The targeting came in response to the enemy's air escalation and its continued siege on the Yemeni people."
Yesterday, the Yemeni Air Force carried out specific offensive operations targeting the airports of Jizan and Abha and the Khamis Mushait base in the Saudi rear, in response to the Saudi regime's continuous aggression on Yemeni territory.
