The vote in favor of a change of Constitution in Chile was largely in the lead, with more than 77% of the votes, according to partial results of the referendum held Sunday, October 25, covering more than 11% of the polling stations.

According to these partial results, the vote in favor of a new Constitution obtained 77.26%, against 22.24% for the vote rejecting this option.
Nearly 15 million Chileans were called on Sunday to vote in a referendum on a change in the Constitution, inherited from the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet (1973-1990).
