Assembly: Christophe Castaner positive for Covid-19
The president of the LREM group in the Assembly and former Minister of the Interior Christophe Castaner tested positive for Covid-19 and is currently "in isolation", parliamentary sources indicated on the evening of October 26.

According to an AFP count, at least a dozen deputies have tested positive for the coronavirus in recent days.
The National Assembly does not communicate the number of positive cases, under medical confidentiality.
The institution underlines the measures taken with the half-gauge imposed for the deputies in committee as in the hemicycle, and the wearing of the obligatory mask. Unions of parliamentary collaborators deplored “strong gaps in information” concerning “positive cases”.
