Report: WikiLeaks revealed emails from Hillary Clinton's account • In the spoils: her correspondence with Michelle Aoun, before his election to the presidency of Lebanon with the support of the terrorist organization
The Saudi newspaper Ukhaz reports that the WikiLeaks website recently published hundreds of private emails sent by Hillary Clinton while serving as Secretary of State in the administration of former US President Barack Obama.
Among other things, there are e-mail correspondence between Clinton and current Lebanese President Michel Aoun before he was elected to office, even when he headed a political-Christian movement in the cedar state that supported the political bloc that identified with Hezbollah.
According to the Saudi newspaper, these are embarrassing correspondences from Clinton's e-mail documenting meetings held between 2011-2006 between Aoun and US Senator Christopher Reed.
The document quoted Senator Reid in a document submitted to Clinton by Aoun - who would later be appointed president of Lebanon with Hezbollah support - arguing that there was a reasonable basis for assuming that the Assad regime in Syria and Hezbollah were behind the assassination of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri. A few months earlier.
"I believe there are a thousand reasons to hold the Syrian regime responsible for the assassination of Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri," Aoun was quoted as saying in a leaked document.
He explained that the signing of the understandings allegedly reached in the agreement between the government of the late Prime Minister and Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, “pushed Hezbollah into a corner.
"They led to cooperation with Syria to assassinate al-Hariri."
It was also reported that the American senator quoted Michelle Aoun when he said that he should be careful of the Hezbollah organization that engages in terrorist acts.
According to the report, he even talked to him about the alleged cooperation between Hezbollah and the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas when he told him: "We know that these terrorist organizations support and cooperate with each other. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization just like Hamas."
