A shooting attack was foiled at the end of last month in Rosh HaAyin.
According to a police statement issued tonight (Monday) following a joint investigation by the GSS and the Israel Police last night, an indictment was filed in the military court in Samaria against defendant Ma'atz Musa Hussein, a resident of Qalqilya who planned to carry out an attack on Rosh HaAyin on September 29.
Following information received by the police, the police conducted searches during which the police noticed the defendant, the police officers who sought contact took over and noticed that in the front of his body he cleared a loaded pistol, cartridges and a box of bullets that actually prevented an attack.
At the end of his interrogation, the defendant admitted that he had planned to carry out an attack and as stated last night, an indictment was filed against him.
At the end of last August, it was made public that a stabbing incident that took place in Rosh HaAyin was a terrorist attack. In September, an indictment was filed against Walid Mansour, a resident of Jenin, who seriously injured an Israeli citizen.
