Miley Cyrus is back.
The sultry American singer will release her seventh album
Plastic Hearts
on November 27.
In a long message posted on her Instagram account, the former Disney muse gave more details on the project, which began two years ago.
“
Just when I thought the job was done… Everything was erased.
Including most of the relevant music
, ”she wrote, presenting
Plastic Hearts
as a renewal in her career.
In 2018, the fires in California destroyed his Malibu home and much of his musical equipment.

The single
Midnight Sky is
slated to appear on the album, along with a collaboration track with singer Dua Lipa.
On all fronts, Miley Cyrus also announced that she was working on a cover record for the rock band Metallica, during an interview for
Interview
magazine
.
She had previously sung the hit
Nothing Else Matter
by the "Four Horsemen" during a concert at the Glastonbury festival in 2019.
A rock turn for the pop singer, confirmed by her covers of Blondie (
Heart of Glass
) and Cranberries (
Zombie
) published on the internet this year.
Miley Cyrus' powerful voice fits perfectly with this new style, which could well feature on
Plastic Hearts
.
The only certainty is that the cover of the new album was shot by Mick Rock, a photographer famous for his shots of rock stars in the 1970s and 1980s, with David Bowie and Iggy Pop in mind.
