The Ministry of Health updated this morning (Monday) that 559 people have been diagnosed in Corona in the past day.
This increased the number of verified infections in Israel to 310,148.
Yesterday, results were obtained for 20,835 tests, with the percentage of positive for the virus being 2.8%.
The test data and their results are not final and may change in subsequent updates from the Ministry of Health.
The number of active patients is 13,911.
The hospitals hospitalize 942 patients, of whom 206 are respirators and 506 are seriously ill.
To date, 2,397 people have died from the corona virus in Israel.
Corona data was not released last night due to a technical glitch caused by the data storage following the switch to winter time.

Last night, the Corona Cabinet unanimously approved the return of first- and fourth-graders to school next week.
According to the approved outline, first- and second-grade students will study alternately in a half-grade format - for a week-week or half-week-half-week, while in third-fourth grades the studies will take place in capsules.
In addition, the ministers approved the extension of the closure regulations until next Sunday at midnight.
The ministers also approved regulations that would allow open-air education with the participation of up to 15 people, as well as open boarding schools for youth without a family background.
Also, last night it was approved to impose a closure on Majdal Shams due to the morbidity data.
According to the decision of the Ministerial Committee for the Declaration of a Restricted Area, the closure will begin from today at 18:00 until next Saturday.
This is in accordance with the recommendation of the Ministry of Health and Corona Supervisor Prof. Roni Gamzo.
