Justice Minister Avi Nissenkorn and Bar Association Chairman Avi Chimi announced today (Monday) the establishment of a committee headed by a retired judge to examine the certification process of lawyers in Israel. The committee, headed by retired judge David Cheshin is due to present its conclusions within three months.A similar committee was set up last year by former Justice Minister Amir Ohana, but in practice has not convened even once.
