Unicorns, skeletons and a mini-Donald at the White House: US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump invited hundreds of children to a Halloween reception on Sunday.
In recent years, the President and First Lady personally distributed candy to the costumed children.
This year, however, the children and the Trumps adhered to the Corona rules, including the distance requirement.
The treats were placed on a path in the White House.
There the children also met the president and his wife and were able to talk from a safe distance.
Trump was particularly happy about a little boy with an iconic Trump wig and his partner, who had dressed up as Melania.
The quartet posed for a photo together.
The reception was carried out under special corona rules.
Guests older than two years had to wear masks and keep their distance.
The same was true for all White House staff who attended the event.
All employees who distributed sweets were required to wear gloves.

The White House was decorated with brightly colored leaves and pumpkins.
A military band played songs like Michael Jackson's "Thriller".
