Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit said tonight (Monday) that Minister David Amsalem "is using the Knesset podium to spread gossip and blatant lies against me."

In a statement on his behalf, Mandelblit responded to the allegations raised by Amsalem in his remarks. Among other things, the minister claimed that "I read that his wife also has a security guard.
