The strong monsoon signal is now in effect.
At 7 am, the Observatory recorded a temperature of 23.6 degrees and a relative humidity of 79%; the highest UV index today is predicted to be about 6, indicating a high intensity.

A strong northeast monsoon is affecting the coastal areas of Guangdong; in addition, the outer cloud belt of the strong typhoon Morafi is covering the northern part of the South China Sea.
At 5 o'clock in the morning, Morafi assembled about 340 kilometers southeast of Da Nang, and is expected to move west-northwest at a speed of about 25 kilometers per hour, crossing the central part of the South China Sea and moving towards Vietnam.
