At about 3 a.m. on Tuesday (27th), a woman was sitting on a stone barge on the shore of the Star Ferry Pier 2 with a cable tied to her. She was drinking while talking on the phone with her friends. During this time, she suddenly fell into the sea and her friends and passers-by hurriedly called the police.
According to news, the female victim swam back to the shore stairs on her own to be rescued, and was assisted by nearby anglers to return to the bench on the shore to rest. Afterwards, she was taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. One of her girlfriends also rushed to understand and accompany her. Sent to hospital.
It is understood that the victim's surname is Huang (19 years old). She later reported to the police that she lost her balance and fell into the sea.
