The gendarmes of Genas (Rhône) launched an appeal for witnesses Monday, October 26 after the worrying disappearance of Manuel Sa Vilas Boas, a 72-year-old man.
He left his home in Pusignan on foot Sunday around 3 p.m. and was last seen in the town of Meyzieu, in the north-eastern part of the metropolis of Lyon.

Affected by Alzheimer's disease, the man “
holds a coherent speech but is disoriented
”, according to the gendarmerie, and is “
dressed in a white shirt, a sweater and black pants
”. Anyone who has seen him or who may know where Manuel Sa Vilas Boas is is invited to contact the Genas gendarmerie on 04 37 60 25 30 or dial 17.
