increasing dramatically.
According to the Robert Koch Institute, 8,685 people were infected nationwide within 24 hours (as of October 26, 2020).
Stricter rules therefore apply in many risk areas.
The
list of risk areas is

growing
in
Lower Saxony
.
In
Lower Saxony,
the
average number of
new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week is 57.5.
The warning value of 50 has thus been exceeded.
Many districts exceed the 50 mark, sometimes drastically.
17 regions are currently affected.
In the meantime, however, measures are already being taken if there are 35 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants.

Corona in Lower Saxony: Two districts tighten rules
The district of
Cloppenburg in
particular
clearly exceeds the limit value.
The 7-day incidence per 100,000 population is 221.5.

Lower Saxony announced
on Monday, October 26th, 2020.
From now on, strict
corona rules apply there
.
Meetings in private and public spaces are limited to six people from a maximum of two households.
A curfew for restaurants and bars applies from 11 p.m., according to the district of Cloppenburg (as of October 23, 2020).
The city of
Delmenhorst
is also one of the front runners
with a value of 217.9.
Due to the high number of
corona infections
, the mask requirement has been expanded.
A mask must therefore be worn throughout the station area, in the parking lots of shops and supermarkets, as well as from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the pedestrian zone in the city center and on the town hall square.
Masks are also required for adult companions in playgrounds.
Corona in Lower Saxony: Vechta district severely affected
The district of
Vechta
has also been badly
hit
by the
corona pandemic
.
Here the 7-day incidence is 189.8 and was thus drastically exceeded.
On its website, the city administration explains that there is a contact limit of a maximum of six people from two households - regardless of the daily incidence number.
In addition, everyone in publicly accessible rooms must wear a mask.
