Four months ago, widespread protests began across the country against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and government corruption.

Every week, thousands of demonstrators go out to protest at intersections, bridges and squares from north to south, as well as in the main demonstration centers in front of the prime minister's residence in Jerusalem and his private home in Caesarea.



In recent weeks, there have been dozens of serious attacks against protesters against Netanyahu.

Her mind in the Gaza Strip was stabbed in the neck, a demonstrator in Jerusalem wore a pink bandana and was beaten with a glass bottle, her mind in Tel Aviv was run over and injured in the leg and in Haifa the life of a demonstrator was threatened.

For all those incidents, only seven indictments have been filed so far, one of which has reached the sentencing stage.

June 27: Tear of tear gas at demonstrators at Binyamina junction



Protesters against Netanyahu at Binyamina junction were attacked with tear gas by a man who arrived in a vehicle.

There were no casualties, and police opened an investigation.

On the evening of that Saturday in late July, thousands of protesters arrived in the Balfour area.

Alongside the protests, there were a series of assaults against demonstrators, one of the most prominent of which was that of a demonstrator wearing a pink bandana, and his assailants called out to him that he had no right to demonstrate in Jerusalem.

Then, according to eyewitnesses at the scene, they beat him with a helmet and broke a glass bottle on his body.

Six suspects were arrested.

In addition, protesters who were in the area of ​​Paris Square reported that boys called out to them "only Bibi", kicked them and threatened to stab them with a knife.

July 28: A demonstrator was stabbed on Fourth Street in Tel Aviv



At the end of July, a demonstration began in front of the home of Minister of Internal Security Amir Ohana in Tel Aviv, and from there the demonstrators marched around the city during which Maccabi Tel Aviv fans allegedly attacked the protesters.

One of the protesters, who asked to remain anonymous, said that "when we reached Fourth Street, between ten and 15 protesters appeared in black shirts, and started beating with everything nearby - chairs, bottles, glass - everything they could. Blood was spilled there."

He added that "as soon as they became a minority they started fleeing, scattering tear gas all over the street."

Five of the demonstrators needed medical treatment at the hospital, and two of the demonstrators were stabbed in the back.



Four suspects were arrested by police during the events on suspicion of disturbing public order and assault.

The Magistrate's Court released the suspects under house arrest and removed them from the focus of the demonstrations.

The police investigation was completed and the case against the suspects was transferred for review and decision by the State Attorney's Office, which has not yet decided whether to file indictments against them.

August 2: A man threw stones at demonstrators in Haifa and wounded one of them



. 36-year-old Dennis Potodinsky from Haifa threw stones at a group of demonstrators standing at a charming intersection in the city, injuring a resident of Nesher who passed by.

According to the indictment filed against him, he also attacked the police officers who arrested him with curses, threats and racist remarks.

Last week, he was sentenced to eight months in prison - the first sentence imposed on protesters against Netanyahu.



August 8: Spraying material at demonstrators in Eilat



During a protest demonstration in the tourist square in Eilat, several demonstrators complained that a passing vehicle sprayed material on them, apparently pepper spray or tear gas.

Police officers who arrived at the scene verified the report, and an investigation was opened - which is still ongoing - in order to find the people who sprayed the gas.

An ambulance evacuated him to Hillel Yaffe Hospital.

That evening, two boys were detained for questioning on suspicion of spraying tear gas at protesters in Kugel Square in the city.

October 17: A series of violent incidents in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa and the Krayot

Jaffa, two protesters were hit by pepper spray sprayed at them from a vehicle traveling on Yefet Street. A 24-year-old man suspected of the act was arrested, and an indictment was filed against him last week. The three, Yaron Hanayev, 24, Ran Mishiev, 21, and Itai Ben Ami, 19, who are suspected of driving, are suspected of spraying pepper spray at protesters in various places in the city, and throwing food scraps at the protesters.

Police claimed that a search of the vehicle turned up Ella and pepper sprays and that a knife was found next to him.

The vehicle was confiscated and the court denied a request for his release, but although police requested an extension of the three-day detention by five days, the court ordered their release on remand from demonstrations, after only a few hours of detention extension.

Dozens of assaults, seven indictments

The police prosecution division has so far filed seven indictments for assaulting protesters.

The first indictment was filed at the end of July against Felix Ilyaev, for attacking the demonstrator Nir Saar at the Sha'ar Hanegev junction.

In the second case, at the end of July, the police filed an indictment against Dennis Potodinsky, who threw stones at a group of demonstrators standing at a charming intersection in Haifa, injuring a resident of Nesher who passed by.

According to the charges against him, he also attacked police officers who arrested him while cursing and threatening.

Last week he was sentenced to eight months in prison.



Two more indictments have been filed against defendants who attacked a demonstrator in Jerusalem in support of Netanyahu.

In addition, a 16-year-old from Ashdod is accused of punching the same woman at the same event.



The fifth indictment filed by the police was against a resident of Ramat Gan who sprayed pepper spray at demonstrators at the Aluf Sadeh junction in the city.

The sixth indictment concerns a protest that took place in Tel Aviv about two weeks ago.

The defendant, 54, came to a demonstration on Kaufman Street under the influence of alcohol, shouted at the protesters, insulted and attacked one of them by punching him in the face and injuring him with his hand.

A seventh indictment was filed last week, against a 24-year-old man from Bat Yam, who was accused of spraying pepper spray on two demonstrators on October 17 on Yefet Street in Jaffa, and fled the scene.
