The Country Gringos are currently building their western town in Schnabelmoos.

Now they are building a second property connection - and are receiving a subsidy from the community for this.

Moosinning / Schnabelmoos

- There are now three associations that jointly use a communal property in Schnabelmoos in the north of the municipality of Moosinning.

The Torpedo Club and the Harley Club have already built and moved into their club houses in the southern area, and the Country Gringos are currently building various club booths on their areas in the north.

In return, they get a second connection to the property, the community subsidizes the work.

As was explained in the municipal council meeting, usage contracts with the associations regulate that the property connections for water, sewage and electricity are provided by the municipality.

The sewage shaft has already been built in the southern area of the property, and torpedoes and the Harley Club have already connected their homes.

Technically it is possible that the third club will join.

The chairman of the Country Gringos, Manfred Böhm, has submitted an application.

According to him, in order to get from the buildings of the gringos to the property connection, a 35-meter-long trench would have to be dug on the club's property, which would cross the area of the parking lot of the torpedo club.

According to Böhm, this is “economically out of the question”, the parking spaces are already paved, added Mayor Georg Nagler (SPD).

The alternative of laying the line along the torpedo parking lot is also unreasonable.

The association therefore requests that another property connection be set up at the level of the northern area, to which the association would then connect with a line that is only 18 meters long.

“According to the rules in the usage contract, this would mean that the municipality would be responsible for the corresponding production costs,” explained Nagler.

According to an estimate by the Wastewater Association (AZV) Erdinger Moos, these amount to around 9500 euros.

In addition, a special agreement must be signed between the municipality and the AZV, in which the municipality undertakes, among other things, to assume the costs of maintenance, repair and, if necessary, renewal.

In addition, there are inspection costs of the entire connection line including the inspection shaft in the public street area as well as on the private property.

In addition to their application in September, the Country Gringos signaled on the day before the meeting that they would be ready to connect the second property at their own expense if the municipality would grant a subsidy of 15 percent on the production costs according to the association's funding guidelines.

Werner Fleischer (Eichenried citizenry) said that his parliamentary group agreed with this proposal.

Andreas Eschbaumer (CSU) stated that the gringos were willing to give up grounds for other clubs twice.

"And now they are the disadvantaged because they could only connect with a huge amount of effort," said Eschbaumer and therefore called for a cost cap for the gringos.

As managing director Bernd Göhler added to the estimate of a good 9500 euros, according to the special agreement between the municipality and AZV, the costs were to be exceeded by ten percent.

So if the costs go beyond the estimate, the municipality would have to pay up to ten percent.

In addition, according to the AZV's contribution statutes, a production contribution of 13 euros per square meter of floor space is to be paid.

The floor area of the stalls is not exactly known.

With an assumed area of around 30 square meters, this would result in a contribution rate of around 390 euros.

A subsidy would therefore have to be capped at a maximum production cost of 10,500 euros plus the production contribution of around 500 euros, i.e. 1650 euros.

The committee agreed.

The money will be paid out in 2021.
