The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor announced the creation of two labor offices in the industrial city of Adra and the industrial city of Hassia, with the aim of facilitating the provision of services within the two cities, which were provided through the Directorates of Social Affairs and Labor in the countryside of Damascus and Homs.

The ministry stated in the juvenile decision, of which SANA received a copy, that the scope of work of the first office in the industrial city of Adra and affiliated to the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor in Damascus countryside includes the industrial city of Adra, al-Nabek, Yabroud, al-Qatifah, Hafir al-Tahta, Saydnaya, Rinkus, Adra al-Balad, Tal Sawan, Tal Kurdi, and Hosh al-Khayyat al-Nusayriya, while the second office follows In the industrial city of Hassia for the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor in Homs.

The duties of the office, according to the decision, included carrying out administrative mediation work with the aim of settling disputes between employers and workers, recording resignations in the presence of the worker and the employer or his legal representative, conducting joint inspection tours in industrial cities, registering the unemployed and making appropriate movements on their records within the program of automating employment offices and printing a certificate of work. In its decision, the Ministry pointed out the possibility of adding new tasks for subscribers in light of the need and availability of technical capabilities.
