Zhang Sumei, director of the Lan Kwai Fong Association, stated on the Hong Kong and Taiwan program "Millenniums" that this Halloween industry will abide by the government's epidemic prevention regulations. The association also requires all front-line employees of member bars to be tested. Distribute test bottles.

She pointed out that the association has also set up an electronic registration system to register the personal information of guests, and when necessary, the information can be transferred to the government to notify guests for testing.

Government expert consultant Yuan Guoyong, chair professor of the Department of Microbiology of the University of Hong Kong, earlier proposed that bar guests use drinking straws to drink alcohol, believing that the risk of removing masks can be avoided.

Zhang Sumei said that the industry agrees with Yuan Guoyong's suggestion and encourages customers to follow it. Currently, bars can only be open until 12 midnight. If the relevant suggestions can allow the government to extend the bar's business hours, the industry absolutely agrees because there is room for survival.

She believes that there will be difficulties in implementation, but the association is devising creative ways to encourage customers to follow, hoping to innovate the trend.

She added that Lan Kwai Fong used to have very good roads during Halloween, and this year falls on Saturday. I believe the turnover can reach 60% to 70% of previous years.
