The inauguration of the president-elect of Bolivia, Luis Arce, will be on November 8, according to the Minister of the Presidency, Yerko Núñez.
“The electoral process has concluded.
The population demonstrated at the polls, now it is up to the organization of the transmission of presidential command and transition from the constitutional government to the elected government, "said the minister this Monday from the government headquarters.
Núñez also announced the creation of a commission for the transmission of presidential command “as the body responsible for the organization of protocol acts” that will be coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Relations.
He specified that each ministry will deliver information to the elected government and that the new government must create a commission to receive the information.
"With this action, the work of the Constitutional government of President Jeanine Áñez will conclude and the work of the elected government will begin," he emphasized.
Last Friday, the Supreme Electoral Tribunal proclaimed Luis Arce of the Movimiento Al Socialismo (MAS) as president-elect of Bolivia.
