The head of the Federal Service for the Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection in Russia Anna Popova announced that every vaccine against Coronavirus infection will have a target group and therefore each doctor will be able to choose which patient should receive which vaccine.
Sputnik news agency quoted Popova as saying in a statement today that "all three Russian vaccines use different production sites and that the opportunity today is available to produce a large quantity of vaccine without pressure on one production site and that each vaccine will have a specific target group."
For his part, the head of the Russian Investment Fund, Kirill Dmitriev, announced earlier that the fund had received requests from more than 20 countries of the world to buy one billion doses of the Russian vaccine against the Corona virus, indicating that the available capacities cover the opportunity to produce 500 million doses per year.
In addition, the Russian State Scientific Center announced a few days ago that it was developing a joint vaccine that protects against infection with the Corona virus and the seasonal flu at the same time.
The Russian Ministry of Health registered the first vaccine in the world to prevent the Corona virus, which was developed by the experts of the Gamali Epidemiology and Microbiology Research Center and was produced jointly with the Russian Fund for Direct Investments, and work is now underway to complete the third vaccine.
