A government statement, followed by a debate and a vote, was placed on the Senate's agenda on Thursday at 2:30 p.m., it was said Tuesday evening in session.

The Senate Law Committee "made the choice of responsibility" by accepting the extension of the state of health emergency, but "ensured that Parliament, at a time when the executive was endowed with exceptional prerogatives , more strictly frame the choices made by the government, ”according to a press release.
