The strong typhoon Morafe moves to the central Vietnam Observatory expected to blow strong winds this week and turn cooler next week

The Observatory said that tropical Cyclone Morafe will move to central Vietnam in the next one or two days, and its outer cloud belt will gradually cover the northern South China Sea and the coast of South China. Clouds in this area will increase and there will be a few rain patches. The Observatory also predicts that early next week, affected by the replenishment of the northeast monsoon, the coastal areas of South China will cool down sooner or later. Affected by Morafe, there will be showers for three consecutive days starting from tomorrow. The wind will be relatively strong. It will improve near the weekend and will be cooler in the morning and evening. Then the weather will turn cooler next week and the minimum temperature will drop to 20 degrees Celsius.

The Observatory stated that the dry northeast monsoon is bringing generally sunny weather to Guangdong.

At 12 noon, the strong typhoon Morafi gathered about 670 kilometers east-southeast of Da Nang and is expected to move west-northwest at a speed of about 25 kilometers per hour, crossing the south-central South China Sea.

The weather in Hong Kong in the afternoon and tonight is expected to be generally fine and dry in the afternoon. The wind will moderate to the east to northeast, and strong offshore winds will occasionally blow.

The Observatory looks forward to strong winds, increased cloud cover and a few rain patches in the next one or two days.

It's getting better towards the weekend and it will be cooler sooner or later.
