Over a hundred candidates for the democratic district council elections held an election gathering in Victoria Park in November last year. Three district councillors Wen Nianzhi, "Uncle Airport" Chen Zhenzhe and Zheng Zhongheng were accused of obstructing office work and possessing unlicensed radios.
The case was reviewed at the Eastern Magistracy today (27th). As the defense is requesting the prosecution for documents such as the policeman’s notebook, the case was postponed until November 24 for a pre-trial review.
Three defendants: Wen Nianzhi (29 years old), Chen Zhenzhe (47 years old) and Zheng Zhongheng (30 years old), all of whom are incumbent district councillors, charged that they deliberately obstructed outside Gate 8 of Victoria Park on November 2 last year Senior Inspector No. 18506, Tactical Unit Echo 3 Team, Response Team B1 Team and other police officers.
Wen is also in possession of the walkie-talkie without a license, and he intends to plead guilty.
