A court file in the US publicly exposed a secret pilot program of the Donald Trump administration that separated more than 1,000 migrant children from their parents, from 2017 to 2018. Authorities admitted the fact, but say it was not necessary to report in this regard because the minors have already been released. However, some 545 children have not yet been reunited with their parents, but instead were assigned to sponsoring homes, through a program of the Department of Health. The files of these minors were not updated, causing that some 300 children are also missing, although they are believed to remain in the US. Kay Guerrero has the details in his Report K.
