Various craft products crowded the lounges of the Colors of Syria Bazaar, which concluded its activities a few days ago in the Umayyah hall of the Sheraton Damascus Hotel, where the bazaar included a variety of handicrafts carried out by young women and women aspiring to export their creative visions and professional projects and enrich the local market with a product called perfection, quality and craftsmanship at work.

Many traditional embroideries and handmade soaps in addition to accessories, jewelry, food products and clothing were available to visitors over a period of three days, according to the Bazaar Organization, Rana Al-Tabbaa, explaining that this event aims to consecrate the vital image of commercial and social activity that characterizes Damascus after a lapse of months due to the Corona pandemic.

Al-Tabbaa indicated that the exhibits were of a degree of diversity to meet the needs of shoppers due to the economic prices and encouraging discounts that it enjoyed, stressing that it provided an opportunity at the same time for women who work in the field of handicrafts or home-made foods to market and promote their products within the framework of a renewed idea. It was launched since 2016 and continues today.

Nour Adawi, one of the participants in the bazaar, indicated that through this bazaar, she was able to display embroidery work on cloth and create an opportunity to sell her products directly and conclude many new deals in the context of marketing her handicrafts.

Meanwhile, the young woman, Areej, pointed out that her soap products made of pure natural materials attracted many fans of this type of safe consumer products to buy them in different shapes and sizes.

As for Samar from the old Daqqa team, she emphasized the importance of the elaborate works presented by the young women in the bazaar, highlighting their craftsmanship, which was a key factor behind the widespread sale and marketing of these products.

A number of visitors to the event considered that the return of the bazaar after its interruption for months is an opportunity to support these women and encourage them to work, especially since each participation left a special imprint in its work.
