In a week marked by the controversy generated by Cristina Kirchner's letter, President Alberto Fernández called for "unity" to "put Argentina on its feet."
He said it this Wednesday, at noon at the head of a ceremony in the Buenos Aires city of Luján, where executives of the
United Breweries Company (CCU)
announced an investment of more than 4,500 million pesos.
"We Argentines should understand once and for all that it is much easier to get out, advance, grow, invest, earn money and give work if we do it together.
What we need most is to realize once and for all that that together it is easier.
It is much easier that together we build once and for all the Argentina we deserve, "he said.
Fernández said he was convinced that this is the recipe for "putting Argentina on its feet" that, he said, he found "bedridden in intensive care."
"As if it were not enough for our bad luck, the coronavirus came and complicated the treatment. But little by little we are getting up. Just as Chilean capital comes and invests, we are going to invest from the State in public works and there will be a lot of private investment. We have to work together the State, the one that works and the one that invests. There is no other way, "he insisted.
Hours ago, Alberto Fernández had come out to lessen the impact of the vice president's harsh letter, by assuring that he felt it "as an endorsement" of his administration.
"
I read Cristina's letter and I liked it, I must be frank
, and I felt it as a gesture of support. Contrary to what many believe, she has been very generous with me in her advice and that is how I valued her," said the president. Tuesday, in a radio interview.
In the text, published by the former president on her social networks on the eve of the tenth anniversary of the death of Néstor Kirchner, CFK questioned the businessmen, assured that the situation of the economy "is overwhelming" and targeted a sector of the Cabinet by stating that there are
"civil servants who do not work
.
