A member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Hanan Ashrawi, has renewed the international community's demand to assume its legal and moral responsibilities by putting pressure on the Israeli occupation to stop its Judaizing settlement plans in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Ashrawi clarified in a statement today that the Wafa news agency reported that the ongoing occupation crimes against the Palestinian people constitute a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian laws and a direct assault on the basic principles of international law and UN Security Council resolutions, including Resolution 2334, which affirms the illegality of settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The Palestinian Presidency affirmed today that the United States' continued unlimited support for the settlement occupation plans in the Occupied Palestinian Territories is a dedication for its violation of international legitimacy resolutions demanding the cessation of settlement operations.
