On the second day of the nightly curfew, Spain's elite had a party.

The President of Real Madrid, the conservative opposition leader, the party leader of the Liberals, the socialist health minister - they all came to the Casino de Madrid on Monday evening.

Pedro J. Ramírez, one of the most influential media entrepreneurs in Spain, invited his online newspaper "El Español" to celebrate the fifth birthday.

There were also prizes, including for the courageous use of the military in the pandemic.

The alarm condition has been in effect again in Spain since Sunday evening.

In Madrid, the Spaniards have to be home by midnight.

Citizens should keep their distance, stay at home if possible and avoid friends and relatives.

The fact that the most powerful politicians and entrepreneurs in Spain, as the pictures of the party show, did not adhere to it, caused a storm of indignation on Twitter: Strict curfews apply in the poorest neighborhoods of Madrid - and the elite just keep celebrating as if nothing had happened .
