Gardaland amusement park in Castelnuovo del Garda (Verona) closes the season early after the last Dpcm, interrupting the activities of the Park, Sea Life Aquarium and the Hotels.
Gardaland thus renounces the two Magic Halloween weekends and, taking into account that the decree will remain in force until November 24, also at the Magic Winter event, since there would be no technical times to kick off the winter event.
"We understand the delicacy of the current situation - explains Aldo Maria Vigevani, Gardaland CEO - and we respect the measures to protect the health of citizens. Despite this, however, we firmly believe in the functioning of the Safety Protocol developed by us and in the operating procedures adopted to protect the health of our visitors and employees ".
Gardaland had studied an ad hoc protocol to reopen safely, with extended opening during the summer and the events of Gardaland Oktoberfest and Gardaland Magic Halloween.
"Naturally - continues Vigevani - the health emergency has created a series of difficulties and various obstacles that Gardaland, which alone develops a turnover equal to one third of the global turnover of all Italian Amusement Parks, has found itself facing ".
Meanwhile, the work on the construction site of "Legoland Water Park Gardaland", the Lego-themed water park in which Gardaland has invested 20 million euros, and which should have been inaugurated last May, is at the end.
