From the streets named after him near the Bundestag in Berlin and the UN headquarters in New York to a square in Madrid • 25 years after the murder, the late Yitzhak Rabin is remembered around the globe

International recognition: In
addition to the commemoration of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin in Israel, countries and cities around the world have also dealt with his commemoration.
In Germany, for example, many streets were named after Rabin.
One street is located in Berlin and was inaugurated in April 2004 right near the Bundestag.
The previous name of the street was "Liberation", and it is in the heart of the area of German government offices.
Beyond Berlin, the city of Bonn is also named after the late Prime Minister, as well as the cities of Stuttgart and Leverkusen.
At the same time, in the Spanish capital, Madrid, a square was named after Yitzhak Rabin in 2006. The square connects the Street of Enlightenment and New Zealand Street.
In the United States, New York City named the street near the UN headquarters after Yitzhak Rabin.
The municipality also named Rabin after walking in one of the city's city parks.
Chicago also has Rabin Street.
North of there, in Montreal, Canada, is Rabin Square, and the Jewish community in Ottawa named a school after Rabin.
From Argentina to New Zealand
Another commemoration is in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires, with a square two blocks from the Jewish Center that was blown up by Hezbollah in the 1990s.
Commemoration was also done in Rome the capital of Italy, in Lima the capital of Peru, and also in Paris there is a square named after him.
Far away, in Wellington, New Zealand, they also took care to commemorate the name of the late Prime Minister, as well as in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
In the United Kingdom, too, the University of Cambridge holds a special commemorative conference for Yitzhak Rabin every year.
This is only a small part of the places, and according to the Rabin Center for Peace, many expressions can be found in the world for Rabin's commemoration, including in Venezuela, Togo, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico and China.
