Corona projector Prof. Roni Gamzo, today (Wednesday) issued a statement to the public and the media, against the background of the continuing decline in the level of morbidity of the Corona virus in Israel, and ahead of the continued opening of the education system and the removal of additional restrictions next week.
In his opening remarks, Gamzo greeted his successor in office.
"Today Professor Nachman Ash started the two-week overlap process, I am very happy about this appointment," he said.
"There's a complex set-up here, we all have to work one way so it's important to have a projector whose whole job is to deal with it."
Later, Gamzo referred to the spread of the virus in Israel, and said that the disease situation is currently better than expected when the restrictions were imposed, and therefore - it is possible to move on to another round of relief.
"The weekly average is around 800, we with a green light for the cabinet to move to the second stage," he said.

Gamzo criticized the decline in the number of tests and said it had a critical impact on morbidity data.
