The son of Martine Bertrand, the former head of territorial intelligence in Hautes-Alpes, admitted having killed his mother.
Placed in custody Tuesday, October 27 on the instructions of the prosecutor's office in Gap, after a first measure of custody for possession of narcotics, the teenager recognized the crime whose circumstances will have to be clarified in view, in particular of the legal medical elements and autopsy.
The lifeless body of Martine Bertrand was found at his home in Montgardin (Hautes-Alpes) on Tuesday.
The Gap prosecutor's office will relinquish jurisdiction in favor of the criminal division of the Grenoble prosecutor's office to whom the teenager will be referred this afternoon for a presentation before an investigating judge.
