(CNN) -
Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested more than 100 immigrants in Minnesota, Ohio, Missouri, Kansas, Michigan and Texas during a five-day operation this month, the agency announced Wednesday.
Tony Pham, the senior official serving as the director of ICE, announced the results of the Minnesota operation on Wednesday, marking the latest push to highlight the agency's work ahead of the presidential election.
More than 70 percent of those arrested had criminal convictions or criminal charges pending at the time of arrest.
